Natalie's Story

Natalie is from Hockessin, Delaware and has recently graduated from the University of Lynchburg honors college with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a double minor in Chemistry & Biology. Her future career aspirations include attending physician assistant school & becoming a dermatology PA. Her interest in advocating for mental health began when she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at 15 years old. Since then, she has made it her goal to raise awareness in order to break the stigma behind being diagnosed with different mental disorders.

Erin's Story

Erin is from North Carolina, and is a current student at the University of Lynchburg majoring in Communications, Journalism, and Digital Media Marketing with a focus on Social Media Management. Her future career aspirations are to work in women’s sports doing journalism and social media management. Her interest in mental health advocacy started when she was 13 and diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). A few years later she was diagnosed with depression and other diagnoses and has since survived multiple attempts to end her life. Her goal now is to advocate by sharing her story to help other people feel less alone in their struggles.
